This is the first year that I've tracked how many words of fiction I'm writing. Not just on my current WIP but on any story. I'm thrilled to say that I've written 30,652 words so far this year.
All the way to 30,652 and on my way to the next Merit Badger badge of 50,000 words. Congratulations to me.

Thanks! It's really encouraging to see the words accumulating over the year. I think it will give me something to improve on for next year too. I wonder if I could reach 100,000 words this year. That would be a huge achievement.
